Quality Assurance Manager
Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the quality of the product in all stages of its development, assembly and final shipment to customer. The QA Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the organization. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and will have exposure to the Follett Leadership Team in the development, execution and performance updates of the QMS process company-wide.
Education:
BA in Engineering or Quality Management, MBA a plus.
ISO 9000/9001 certified
ISO 13485, NFS, ASME, APQP certification a plus.
Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Experience in FDA a plus.
Experience:
- 5 - 10 years in Quality Systems Management
- Hands-on ISO/FDA procedure, implementation and auditing experience
- Experience in metrology and CMM measuring devices, Gauge R&R
- Experience in Supplier Quality Control and PPAP process

Responsibilities / Functions:
- Develops, implements and oversees the Company’s Quality Management System, including managing the quality of raw materials, assemblies, components and products, services related to production and inspection processes.
- Trains personnel on quality standards, policies and procedures; communicates & coordinates quality efforts across departments; and monitors activities to ensure compliance.
- Performs internal quality and external supplier quality audits, documents findings, develops corrective and preventative actions, and conducts follow-up reviews to sustain quality and prevent quality spills. Also prepares for, and represents the company, when audited.
- Partners with the Materials/Procurement Department to develop and maintain a supplier quality index (utilizing supplier capability data, vendor certification and score cards) to assure only high-quality vendors are retained.
- Works closely with Engineering to integrate quality systems with new product development and sustaining functions. Reviews product/process designs and contributes quality assurance requirements and considerations to prevent/eliminate waste. Print reading, including GD&T and stack-up analysis, required.
- Facilitates and trains Design Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to prevent/eliminate waste.
- Defines and specifics the implementation of standards, metrics, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Perform inspections. Collects and analyzes data. Collects and analyzes data.
- Reviews customer complaints/concerns to determine where quality improvements will be implemented to eliminate problems and reduce warranty cost and COPQ. Works directly with customer as needed.
- Communicates to Senior Leadership on Quality metrics and QMS progress.

Project Engineer
Position Summary:
Leads the development and implementation of new product concepts and sustaining product improvements by developing, selecting, and refining design concepts; completing engineering analysis and qualification testing; and documenting product designs in accordance with Follett standards. Participate on assigned product and process projects supporting team work, project planning, providing technical inputs and problem solving and field follow-up as required.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Mid level engineering position; 5-10 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated product development / project management experience.
- AutoCAD Inventor experience.
- In-depth knowledge of various appliance type controls and components.
- Demonstrated unit qualification testing knowledge and experience; performance and reliability.

Healthcare National Sales Coordinator (Administrative)
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Business Law/Contracting degree a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in GPO/IDN contracting and 3-5 years in Healthcare sales.
- Capital equipment contracting and sales experience a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills a must for both in-person and
- conference call contract negotiations.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word and Excel.
Responsibilities / Functions:
- Assumes key point person position for all GPO/IDN contract activities.

Works with GPO/IDN organizations on terms & conditions of contracts. Requires back and forth agreement and settlement on negotiable terms & conditions in order to win contract.

Helps set final pricing, pricing term, and price increases (annually) during length of contract.

Helps set acceptable admin fee (and rebate plan, if necessary) based on sales volume, member compliance, and number of suppliers on contract.

Responsible for submitting to GPO/IDNs any new products that should be added to contract (or deletions). At the same time, pricing on new products must be submitted and approved.

Ensures Healthcare Admin Assistant is updating membership changes, tracking sales accurately, and recording and paying admin fees and rebates as necessary.

Develops partnership relationship with GPO/IDN contract managers, marketing point person, and other support personnel within these organizations.

Settles all issues and disputes with GPO/IDN staff and individual members regarding price discrepancies, freight damage, lead times, and other sales cycle problems.
