Bin sizing for Commercial Restaurants

The selection of the right size ice machine and ice storage equipment is critical to the smooth running of every commercial restaurant. You don't want to run out of ice on your highest traffic days, but you also don't want to purchase a larger ice machine than you need.

Because pound for pound, ice storage is generally less expensive than production, you should size the ice machine to meet the average daily ice usage and the bin to meet any peak demands for ice.
