Education:

- Mechanical design experience and aptitude.
- AutoCAD Inventor experience and capabilities.

Essential Responsibilities / Functions:
- Lead engineering personnel and cross-functional teams in the development and launch of new product designs, and the completion and implementation of improvements for existing products. Develop product & project cost estimates, project schedules, and coordinate the activities of assigned resources; identify resource needs.
- Develops product design concepts that meet customer requirements and performance standards; completes engineering analysis and technical feasibility investigations.
- Utilize 3D CAD tools to develop and communicate design concepts; direct the completion and models, layouts, and details for products assemblies and components.

- Works with the Fabrication Supervisor to sets appropriate inventory levels by altering pull magnate quantities, run frequencies, and inventory minimums.
- Closes work orders when completed.
- Responds to part shortages by expediting planning and then follows up by reviewing the planning parameters to eliminate future disruptions.
- Mange part locations in Avante.
- Conducts periodic reviews of inventory balances to ensure accuracy in the ERP system.
- Conducts periodic cycle counts within the boundaries of the CBA.
- Assists the Materials Manager in the coordination of the end of year inventory for managed parts.
- Conduct periodic raw material inventories.
- Identifies inventory discrepancies and researches to identify the root cause of the discrepancy; The resolves the root cause
- Develops tools and processes to enhance the flexibility of our planning systems utilizing reports in Avente, Access, and Excel.
