Follett Adds Cube Ice Machines to Its Solution Portfolio

The PerfectCUBE™ leads a cube lineup that makes Follett a single source for ice needs

Follett, the Middleby brand known for its Chewblet® nugget ice and beverage systems, has announced its expansion into cube ice. The new PerfectCUBE™ leads the lineup as the first cube ice machine to carry the Follett name and is now joined by a full lineup of undercounter and modular cube ice machines and accessories.

Cube is the most widely used ice type in foodservice. With cube now in its portfolio, Follett can meet operators anywhere their ice needs begin.

“By combining expanded product capabilities with Follett’s brand strength, trusted service, and channel relationships, we can help customers and partners address more applications with greater confidence, all through one proven solutions provider,” said Michael Raycher, Group President of Middleby Ice Solutions.

Meet PerfectCUBE™

PerfectCUBE was designed for operations where ice is part of the presentation. It produces true 1.25-inch square cubes that give cocktails, spirits, and specialty beverages a crisp, uniform look and slower, more controlled dilution.

The machine makes up to 480 pounds of ice per day, fitting all that output into a 30-inch-wide cabinet with three-sided ventilation for flexible placement behind the bar. R290 refrigerant, insulated stainless steel construction, and a hinged front access panel round out the machine.

Every Ice Type, One Source

The addition of cube ice changes what Follett can offer. Many operations depend on more than one ice type: cube for cocktails and Chewblet for fountain drinks, or cube in the kitchen and nugget in patient rooms. Follett brings cube, Chewblet, nugget, and flake ice together under one brand.

The Same Follett Standard, Now in Cube

Follett's cube machines share the same design priorities as the Chewblet machines they’ve long been known for: dependable refrigeration, a sanitation system that reduces cleaning frequency, straightforward controls, and durable construction. They’re also backed by the same robust and reliable service infrastructure. Paired with Follett's storage, transport, and dispensing systems, the result is an ice program that is simpler to plan, run, and maintain, whatever ice type an operation depends on.
