Steve Follett Recognized By Industry Association

Steve Follett, president of Follett LLC, a Middleby Company, was honored by the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) with its 2017 President’s Award, which recognizes a non-elected NAFEM volunteer who has donated time and expertise to the betterment of the organization. The award was presented on February 8, 2017 at The NAFEM Annual Meeting during The NAFEM Show, the association’s biennial trade show and exhibition, held in Orlando, Florida.

Steve has been involved with NAFEM activities for more than 30 years.  He served on the Trade Show Advisory Council, chairing the committee for the 2009 show, as well as the Government Relations and Market Studies committees.  After joining NAFEM’s board of directors, he expanded his roles to include the Executive and Finance & Audit committees as well.  Follett also served a two-year term as the organization’s president from 2010 to 2012.

“It has been an honor to serve in many leadership positions for such a well-run organization that has advanced so many aspects of the foodservice industry,” according to Follett.

In addition to NAFEM, Steve has served other industry associations, including the Foodservice Consultants Society International – The Americas (FCSI-TA), Association for Healthcare Foodservices (AHF) and the Society for Hospitality & Foodservice Management (SHFM).
